SSH tunnel with ed25519 private key

Hello,
I am using SSH Tunneling Client addon to establish a tunnel between HA OS and an external Linux server. I can do a ssh connection manually using Teminal & SSH addon, just including the key file in the .ssh folder and doing the cli "ssh user@serverip -p myport". I would like to use the same key file with SSH Tunneling Client but I don't see where I have to locate the file, or how to set it, in the config file.
Could you give me some tip in order to use SSH Tunneling Client with asymetrical keys authentication ?
I am running HA OS in a RPi-4 with RPi-Debian Bookworm 64bits
Appreciate any comment
Jose Zapico

400 Bad Request

Hi, I am sure I am doing something incorrectly.

I added your add-on and updated the following in the configuration section before starting the addon.

The logs look fine

Yet when i try to browse the url from the status page of ngrok client I get 400: Bad Request
image

Any ideas?

Only working on lan

Hi, do you have this working still?
After some updates it only works on lan, when i connect on wan it says ERR_NGROK_3200 tunnel not found.

Getting error after update

I am getting the following error after upgrade.

Missing option 'auth' in tunnels in ngrok Client (fdfb012e_ngrok).
How to sort this?

Addons can't create the tunnel after startup

Hello,
I am using Home assistant version 2022.8.1 with supervisor 2022.08.3 on RPI 4 in docker. Addon works normally, but after reboot the addon won't create a tunnel and in log shows this error.

[14:19:49] INFO: Starting ngrok...
NAME:
start - start tunnels by name from the configuration file
USAGE:
ngrok start [command options] [arguments...]
DESCRIPTION:
Starts tunnels by name from the configuration file. You may specify any
number of tunnel names. You may start all tunnels in the configuration
file with the --all switch.
EXAMPLES:
ngrok start dev # start tunnel named 'dev' in the configuration file
ngrok start web blog # start tunnels named 'web' and 'blog'
ngrok start --all # start all tunnels defined in the config file
OPTIONS:
--all start all tunnels in the configuration file
--authtoken ngrok.com authtoken identifying a user
--config path to config files; they are merged if multiple
--log "false" path to log file, 'stdout', 'stderr' or 'false'
--log-format "term" log record format: 'term', 'logfmt', 'json'
--log-level "info" logging level
--none start running no tunnels
--region ngrok server region [us, eu, au, ap, sa, jp, in] (default: us)
ERROR: Your configuration file must define at least one tunnel when using --all. To intentionally start no tunnels, use ngrok start --none.
jq: error (at :1): null (null) has no keys

In addon page I have ticked the automatic start after boot and watchdog. But I am getting the same error repeatedely. In config I have all the tunnel information.

After clicking on Restart addon, it works normaly.
I am facing this problem after update from Hassio 2022.4.1 to 2022.8.1. I tried to downgrade to 2022.4.1 but it still has the same problem.

Is it possible to add the fix for restart of the addon, or something different? When I am away from my home a need to connect to my local network to manually restart the addons a then it works.

And in the error message is shown the missing config file, but when I open look into container with this addon, I can see my config file. Also I can see the config in config page of addon.

Error on addon not working any more

I know you have depreciated the addon, but I am writing maybe you can recover with a small tweak.

The ngrok client addon log gives following error:
s6-overlay-suexec: fatal: can only run as pid 1

and not working anymore

I will be grateful if you can handle it.

How to run in docker?

Hello

I run hassio in docker and this ngrok integration project looks promising to solve CGNAT access problems however it is still not clear for me how exactly is it supposed to run within hassio. If it should run as a second container in parallel with hassion then how and where it is configured?

Auth required

I know its deprecated but after the last update, I needed to add the "Auth:" to the config to make it work, this makes it so that you have a login when you open the web or app. in the web it works but not the app. hoping maybe someone can have a look at this cause I have no clue....

Hass.io ngrok Client

Hi Dylan,

I am I user of your ngrock addon it needs to be updated to work by mid January (client version issues.) I am happy to do this and take over and publish the addon(I maintain a few already) as you don't support this any more. Are you happy for me do do so or are you going to update the addon?

Thanks

Phill.
