Hi durchflieger,

it seems the dfatmo kodi add-on is incompatible with kodi >= 19.0. Do you have plans making it compatible again? If yes, I'm willing to test it.

this might be too early, but I heard of other people running it ok more or less under XBMC 12 already.
The problem is, that I can install/enable the plugin via the ZIP file no problem.
But when I restart XBMC, it will crash straight after start.

OS is Ubuntu 12.04.01 LTS

I have a rather large crash dump log file, which I can post if required.

the last package requiring python2 on my system is DFAtmo. Thus, I tried migrating it to python3. Using the attached patch
I got rid of the compliation error. I tested it with python3, VDR 2.4.6 and DF10CH, which works fine. Untested is both dfatmo-file and dfatmo-serial.

I had problems compiling your dfatmo plugin for VDR due to the Makefile changes in the recent version of VDR. I created a new Makefile with the newplugin script in the root folder of vdr-1.7.36 and tried to change it according to your vdrplug.mk (see http://pastebin.com/JdsfC3Ds).

It creates the .so file just fine. Unfortunately I don't have access to the appropriate VDR to test it at the moment. Could you have a look at this?

I'm unsure about two things:

• The OBJS target in line 94 of our vdrplug.mk
  Why do you need this? Just to make sure that the header files are in place?
• $(wildcard *.cpp) in line 89 of the new vdrplug.mk
  Would you like to use it this way or rather the old way: $(OBJS:%.o=%.cpp)

I've also created attached a diff to the automatically created Makefile by newplugin (see http://pastebin.com/waEwKxcX).
