Add test (or inspection-testing assertion) that instance gets inlined
It would be great to assert that these also get inlined.
This has been upstreamed!
generic-lens 0.5.1 now has this module copied over, although not exactly.
Less overlap?

Bad type inference for polymorphic records
I'm noticing a trend where parameterized records usually can't infer the proper label. Using field @"label" works fine consistently. I need to find some reproducible cases so I'll report back as I find them.
Type inference fails for record fields that are functions
data Record = Record{
func :: Int -> Int -> Bool
} deriving Generic
r = Record (<)
-- works
r ^. field @"func"
-- doesn't work
r ^. #funcPut example on hackage
…either by uploading the README or by including the example in the haddocks or cabal description.

I appreciate the IsLabel orphan issue but life's too short, I consider TH worse, and I really like the API.
