Fix treatment category tool

Button 'Other' for treatment category is not functional on SHOW's version. This is functional in candidate fixes-oxford-april branch commit f532264.

Need no change/stable and resolving/resolved lesion options in MRI

Further clarification as to how this feature should be implemented is required. Current options for Brain and Spine Morphology are shown in the screenshots below. Would the new feature be available as an option? How will we indicate the comparison ('no change' compared to which MRI)?

Add RAPD in Visits

Request from SHOW.

If RAPD is to be added, what is the input type and where in Visits should we add this?

Remove e-cigarette option

Response from Paul Matthews to Oxford request for an e-cigarette option:

Ignore

We addressed the request for adding the option- see issue #3

User is not certain patient data is actually saved

Data is automatically saved once entered in the following sections:

  • Profile > Demographic
  • Visits
  • Clinical Events
  • Tests
  • Treatments (excluding Drug Interruptions)
  • Reminders

There is a Save/Add feature for the following:

  • Profile > Medical History
  • Profile > Family Medical History
  • Profile > Primary Diagnosis (excluding Basis of Diagnosis tool)
  • Treatments > Drug Interruptions

We will consider adding a Save/ Confirmation feature for any data entered. We have to take account user role-based rights issue #28 when implementing this.

Add Romberg’s sign in Visits

Request from SHOW.

If Romberg’s sign is to be implemented, where should we add this and what form of input will it accept?

Add Balance Problems in Symptoms

Request from SHOW.

If this is to be implemented, where in Symptoms should the option for balance problems be added? Current symptom options are shown in the screenshots below.

Add paired/unpaired option for Oligoclonal Bands in CSF test

Request from SHOW. This is not available in candidate fixes-oxford-april branch commit f532264.

Is the proposed solution shown below satisfactory? If the user clicks Detected, Paired and Unpaired buttons become available. What is the appropriate CDISC field to store this additional information (Paired/Unpaired)?

User cannot update patient consent information

We need to define 'consent' here. Consent for patient data to be shared for research purposes or for patient data to be stored? In the current version, consent is set by the user when they create a new patient. The CDISC field RFICDTC is set to the date/time the patient is created if patient gives consent or to an empty string otherwise. Date of initial consent is currently the only information stored. It is not possible to update consent in current version.

Need to consider who can update consent, who can delete data if consent removed, which CDISC standards can be implemented and how. Related issues #28 and #30.

Implement tool in Visits to record details about who is seeing a patient

SHOW team suggested recording information about who is seeing a patient at each visit might be useful. Possible options include doctor, nurse and consultant.

Further information about the implementation of this tool is required. Is there a CDISC field to store this information? Will the user select from a list of available options (in which case we need the list of options) or the input will be free text?

User cannot add same type tests for a particular date twice

MRI for both Brain and Spine for a particular date can be added using the 'region' drop-down list. However the user cannot create two MRI entries with the same date. Would it be a good idea to allow the user to have more than one MRI for the same date?

Timeline is compressed and unclear (dates overlap, no shrinking)

Feedback from Oxford: "The MS research team do not appreciate the graphics, particularly the circles on the timeline. There is no capacity to hover over the icons for clinic dates or relapses and have information about the episodes such as actual dates, steroids, or even the type of clinic such as DMT clinic, nurse clinic, and relapse clinic...The primary diagnosis does not appear on the timeline."
