Todoworks

To get started with the TodoWorks client, follow the steps below.

Prerequisites

Ensure you have the following installed on your system:

  • Node.js (v14 or later)
  • npm (v6 or later)

Installation

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/drianlarde/todoworks-client.git
  2. Navigate into the project directory:

    cd todoworks
  3. Install the dependencies:

    npm install

Running the Project

To start the development server, run:

npm run dev

This will start the Next.js development server. You can now open your browser and navigate to http://localhost:3000 to see your application in action.

Backend Server

For backend functionality, you can run the TodoWorks server locally. Please refer to the TodoWorks Server Repository for instructions on how to set it up. Note that the local client is already connected to the database.

  • Next.js 14.2: A React framework for server-side rendering and generating static websites.
  • TailwindCSS: A utility-first CSS framework for rapid UI development.
  • ui/shadcn: A UI component library.
  • React Query: A data-fetching library for React applications.
  • Server Actions: Used for mutations only.
