I am repeatedly getting service unavailable popup with error description Please contact your server administrator.

Upon pressing refresh button, it prompts Checking service hearbeat... and then error comes again.

I am using ubuntu 18 box on VPS. Got only one error while installation which was related to beautifulsoup. However, I have manually installed bs4 still getting the error.

I am unable to start the backend web service due to gunicorn .Can you please help me how to resolve the issue.

If you face such an error while trying to run Raptor on Ubuntu Kylin (16.04) you may follow the steps below to resolve the issue, hopefully:

1. Clone a fresh copy of the repository with git clone https://dpnishant/raptor OR pull the latest changes to your local repository by running git pull origin master
2. Download the Installer patch file from the Gist here
3. Apply the patch by running patch install.sh -i raptor_kylin_install.patch -o install_kylin.sh
4. Execute the installer script by running sudo -H sh install_kylin.sh
5. After that follow the instructions on README.md as normal.

If you still face any other error, feel free to open new issues.

I git cloned raptor, then cd into the directory and then started with "sudo sh install.sh";
No problem at installation;
Then i type "sudo sh start.sh"
and went with firefox on localhost/raptor;
I logged in, but when i try to upload a zipped/rar source code, it give me Interal Server Error without any other infos or anything;
Any ideas?

You might like to change the href link of "Raptor: Source Code Scanner" header on the home page from href ="/" to href="/raptor/".

I am having an issue when uploading the direct url of the github link and it shows that it's scanning but no results are showing.

I notices based on the instruction I see I am suppose to edit the start.sh file or raptor/frontend/session.php but I am not fully sure if I am on the right track. When uploading the github zip file, it works fine. Thanks!

Create a ui for rules modification / addition / deletion / disable.

Json blobs might get counter productive and base64 temparing is better handled with softwared instead of doing it manually.

provide a version which works via commandline.
