My name is Hasan. I am a dot Net developer from Jakarta, Indonesia.

I intend to hold a dot net event, dot net introduction for vocational high school students in one of the small cities in Indonesia

They have just learned programming, and can turn the dot net into learning for them.

The event will be held on May 2, 2020 at SMK Tunas Harapan Pati with students as participants in this Workshop.

I hope Dot Net Foundation can help organize this workshop.

We need to define how marketing proposals get submitted and reviewed. The idea is we create an issue template for the proposal process we started defining here: Marketing Proposals.

These proposals are from our members to request funds to perform marketing activities and drive initiatives that align to our goals and priorities.

• What are we looking for in the submission? What's our criteria besides cost?
• How are they reviewed by the committee? Proposed: Monthly at committee member-only meeting.
• How is progress reported by the recipients?

A current speaker in this speaker list https://dotnetfoundation.org/community/speakers should be able to update their speaker profile. Currently there are no mechanisms to authenticate the user/member to safely do this.

I was wondering if there was a plan for these .NET Source t-shirts to be restocked?

Hey marketing peeps 👋

Silk.NET is currently about to embark on a complete rewrite of the entire library, and is redesigning a lot of the surface API in the process. However, because of the massive amount of change, we'd like to engage the community throughout the process. In the past, we've had Discord meetings with our contributors, which have worked really well only that:

• the meetings were not recorded, so people who wanted to engage but couldn't at the time were not in the loop
• people not in our Discord server wouldn't have known they were happening
• people may have wanted to listen in on the meeting but without actively participating in conversation, and a Discord call may be discouraging for those people.

As such, the Silk.NET team would like to:

• Stream the meetings to YouTube. We currently don't have a YouTube channel, and were wondering if we could use a .NET Foundation one instead?
• Ensure the most critical meetings have proper visibility. We propose that this will be a case of us pinging someone on the marketing
  committee closer to the time, so instructions on
  a. how to participate via Discord
  b. how to listen in via YouTube
  on the Foundation's various social channels.

Would the above be possible? Feel free to give me a shout (here or in the DNF Slack) if you would like more info!

I found a project dotnet-cn,there is a job repository.
It is seductive , how many big companies !

The store was shut down with Kotis and I have most of the leftover inventory ready to be sent to the user groups we support.

There are some members that still have codes to be used to purchase items in the store that haven't been redeemed yet.

Adding this issue as we work on solutions for a new store for the new website.

Hi Team,

Since I'm going to hold an big .NET event in Shanghai, China in Q4, 2023, I'd like to check how I can get authorization from .NET foundation team. The event will be called .NET Open Conf. Since I'd like to emphasis the Openness of .NET and the ecosystem, .NET foundation's authorization is needed to allow me say that this event is held by .NET foundation instead of Microsoft.

Please let me know what kind of event info I shall provide from my side and I do need this official authorization.
