Hi there, first off thanks for your hard work on this!
I'm having fairly constant network disruptions, please let me know what information you need from me.
Forcing a speed does not seem to have an effect, but if I flap the port the connection comes back.

Kext loads but doesn't work. No internet connection through the Ethernet port.
Not working on Asrock X570 Phantom Gaming 4
It says "connected" in settings but there's no internet. Repplugging doesn't help.
X570 and I211AT packet loss after a few minutes of use

I have a problem with my configuration using the AppleIGB to drive the I211AT
It will fail to connect to the Internet a few minutes after it is turned on and used. In the first few minutes, everything is normal, and the network speed can run to 1000Mbps, but after a few minutes, it cannot connect to the Internet directly.
After testing, I disable the Ethernet and use the WiFi card AX200 and everything works fine, this should be the problem of the Ethernet driver AppleIGB
I disable and re-enable ethernet and he works fine again but after a few minutes it loses packets again

Still early, but this solved an extremely annoying issue I was having with Adobe Lightroom. Newer versions of LR wouldn't work with my USB ethernet dongle. After about an hour with this driver, I lost connection, but changing speed in network settings to 1000baseT brought it back. Fast.com says Im getting 1.2Gbps :)

edit: having relatively frequent lost connections. Switching the network speed from 1000 to 100 and back 1000baseT gets it working again. Does anyone have a quick / easy script to automate this toggle?
Internet connexion lost after a few minutes
Hi, just to thank you for your work and let you know what words and what does not in my case :
- What works : DHCP, local network, no breakdown after sleep, internet connectivity
- What does not : internet connectivity after a few minutes, I have to tweak link speed to make it work again.
NIC : Intel GbE LAN chip (Built in Gigabyte Aorus X570 elite)
OS version : macOS 12.2.1
Router : TP-link MR 400

我机器上用这个驱动来驱动i211at貌似一切都正常，但是启动pd或vm虚拟机，并且选择桥接模式来桥接i211at网卡，在虚拟机中windows下，系统能获取到ip、子网掩码等所有参数，但就是无法上网。即使手动设置 ip、网关都不行。

Intel® I211-AT works well with SmallTreeIntel82576.kext on Big Sur.
It doesn't have internet though it can connect to router normally and is assigned a IP on Monterey.

Asus ROG Strix X570-I Gaming Motherboard - LAN is working without any connection dropped [v5.11-mb]
I got the LAN working yesterday consistently without any internet being dropped. The kext I used is the latest pre-release:
I tested out with downloading a torrent successfully. MacOS has been running stable internet connection for more than 45 minutes compared to previous time when it will drop the connection after 15 minutes.
What did yesterday was updated Opencore and config.plist to the latest release with every single kexts to their latest version.
However, one particular strange thing I did noticed that will break the internet connection is when I ran the Geekbench benchmark, the app tried to upload results to their site. The internet connection will stopped working. This issue has been happening before with every versions of AppleIGB until now. It's a minor issue but worth mentioning regardless.
My system:
Asus ROG Strix X570-I Gaming Motherboard - Mini ITX
Intel I211-AT - LAN from the Motherboard without any dongle
AMD Ryzen 9 5900X
AMD Radeon 5700XT - Anniversary Edition
G-Skill Neo - 32GB RAM

There were a few days when I did not realise that I have this kext to be replaced with Smalltree to be able to get to the internet.
I have always used HoRNDIS in case my internet does not work and I was usb tethering with a phone connected to a broadband.
I just read about this, dropped in my EFI>OC>Kexts, took OC snapshot with ProperTree. Worked like a charm.
Not sure why the upload seems to be slower on CLI though.

How to use the suggested alternative driver
There is by far better effort by @mbarbierato (check branches there and correspondent links in discussions) to patch well-formed and stable IntelMausi codebase to support the whole I211 family (including X570 and TRX40). Discussions and issues will be closed soon.
This driver will soon be deprecated in favor of a fork of IntelMausi. However, the suggested fork does not build (undeclared identifier errors), and there is no prebuilt binary available either. Am I missing something? How are we supposed to use the new alternative?
I am on macOS Monterey using a MSI B450 Pro Carbon AC passed through with qemu btw. Contrary to a previous report, the driver does not work for me: network is stuck at "self-assigned ip", and even when manually configuring an IP and DNS and network settings showing "Connected" I get "You're not connected to the internet" errors in browsers.
