This project is part of the capstone project course for the back-end developer specialization. The goal of this project is to extend the table reservation functionality on the Little Lemon restaurant's website by building a web API. Users will be able to reserve a table at the Little Lemon restaurant using this API.
The project is built using the following technologies:
- Backend
- Django
- Django REST Framework
- MySQL
The key features of the Little Lemon Table Reservation API include:
- Table Reservation: Users can reserve a table at the Little Lemon restaurant.
- Menu API: Provides a list of food menu items available at the restaurant.

To get started with the project, follow the steps below:
To run this project, you need the following:
- Python
- Django
- Django REST Framework
- MySQL
Clone this repository to your desired folder:
git clone https://github.com/Doheera-kosi/LittleLemon.git
Install the project dependencies:
cd LittleLemon
pip install
To run the project, execute the following command:
python manage.py runserver
To run the tests, use the following command:
python manage.py test
The project can be deployed using your preferred deployment method, such as Heroku or AWS.
