It looks like Docker for Python developers would be a nice section to add. We can also extend it to dockerizing ML apps. I have worked on both, would be happy to contribute.

As we will be starting with Show-n-tell sessions, it will be good to have a standard template that new speaker can fill out to enter their details like topic, region, availability etc.

I'm new to docker contributions, also new in open source as contributor. I've installed the get-involved repo, go to http://127.0.0.1:1313/docs/contribution-guidelines/contributecode/#docker-community-guidelines and when click on "setting up a Docker development environment and the contribution process" I got this error and the link seems broken.

The page https://github.com/docker/get-involved/blob/master/content/en/docs/CommunityLeaders/EventHandbooks/Docker101/dockerfile/_index.md#ubutu-rails has a couple of issues.

The easy one to fix is "Ubutu Rails" should of course be spelt "Ubuntu Rails".

The other (which will require proper testing) is that the example uses Ubuntu 12.04, which isn't a valid option in 2021. The current latest Ubuntu LTS version is Ubuntu 20.04, but the rest of the example will need testing to ensure that no other changes to the Dockerfile are needed.

Description

Currently when we share our page, it doesn't render the Image.

We Can create a new we og:image relevant to our Page, or Can use the same what Docker is using:

Though, we have to fix the size of image. ( we should do that for docker.com also) - so that it looks good!

Possible Implementation:

Add an og:image & twitter:image metadata to the website. Use png instead of SVG here.

The new URL https://contribute.docker.com opens up the homepage with image which looks clumpsy. It's better to remove it and keep it simple like docker.github.io/get-involved.

The https://contribute.docker.com/docs/communityleaders/eventhandbooks/ page needs improvement in terms of .NET thumbnail. Right now, it just shows Docker thumbnail but it needs to be .NET related thumbnail.

One of the challenges event organizers are facing is finding speakers for their Meetups and conferences. It would be great if we can have a dedicated page for searching speakers. I liked the idea and if we could have something similar for our contribute site. What do you think?
