Many years ago, I did some research on PS3 opcodes. In the cheat database of Artemis, I noticed a code maker named Bungholio. I communicated with him on forum and found him to be very helpful. I haven't seen any activity from him on the internet for years. If anyone knows him, could you let me know if he's okay?

Me too，I found the Artemis often black screen，crash games and so on at rebug4.78（since Netcheat doesn't support 4.78）.Then I update to 4.81rebug，unluckily，nothing has changed.I think the NetCheat is better as a codemaker and also a codeuser，but it doesn't support 4.81 and 4.82 CFW.And most people here in China cannot use Artemis，some people（their PS3 are higher then 4.76，CCAPI2.60 is unable）also find me for help，but as an amateur codemaker I have tried but failed. I could do nothing but ask you for help.I hope the NetCheat can support the CCAPI2.80（rebug4.82）-the latest also the last version of PS3.
I think the Artemis fits for professional developer because of its powerful function and the NetCheat fits common codemakers and the most of users since it's simplicity.We need both of them.

I installed artemis on my ps3 slim but its crashing after i opened ، When I open the program it shows me an update the cheat and when its done The screen stops on ok and freezing only ican hear the music , and I can't press anything at all. I solve a problem by turning off the device manually ,

Hello, i have a doubt about if codetype 5 is still implemented in the latest version.

I don’t remember if it was on r5 or if it was a modded version, but with codetype 5 you can enable a code when pressing select on xmb.
The use for this was for example to disable the no collision code on fallout 3/nv

All the codes are freezing the ps3 by activating Artemis ingame tried different setting in Artemis.

Tried 1 for 1 but not working and gives the same result.

The game is v1.0

DEX syscall does not work if you don't have a debug eboot in the game. The syscalls 904/905 will return error 0x80010409 but will return 0 if I use a debug eboot. ArtemisPS3 switches to MAMBA syscalls on DEX when no debug eboot is in game which is no big deal just thought I'd let you know. Furthermore the CCAPI syscalls you are using no longer work since CCAPI update 2.50, it now uses a new method to write memory that are not syscalls.

This would make it easier as the current webman mod method of using web browser to disc swap does not work the codes don't stay in memory after codebreaker boots the ps1 game

Hi I just bought a jailbreak ps 3 2 weeks ago so I'm really new to this and my knowledge about ps3 is really low. I want to use some cheats using artemis but I can seem to make it work all. I fallowed all the tutorial and video but can't make it work.
the problem I'm facing is when I try to use artemis with a code selected it black screens.
I tried using artemis first with codes selected and when I tried to load a game using multimen it also black screens.
with out artemis multimen and the game works fine (I'm playing tales of xilia 2 English version)

my system software is 4.80
artemis is r4
on multimen it said firmware 4.78
firmware mode cobra 7.30
I think my ps3 is a fat/ old model

I also tried a post that said to disable the systemcall 8 and I did that using webman mode and I choose to disable permanently I hode that does not ruin my system.

I am using 4.84 Rebug CFW, I've uninstalled Webman Mod, am using the most recent version of Artemis, and I'm loading the disc images only from Multiman, and yet every time I try to save my game, or the game auto-saves, the system crashes. I've also tried using only one code (write once for the buy something to max out money cheat), and that hasn't worked. Also I'm using version 1.01 of Drakengard 3, as well as version 1.01 of the codes, so incompatibility isn't the issue, and neither is deactivating the cheats when done, because the system will crash even after code activation. I have tried activating Mamba, but the system will freeze when I run it, so that's a no go.

I'm running Artemis (r1) version on my PS3, and that version still has the L3 + R3 combo to attach,
but I can't find out what the combo is to detach, required to do with constant write codes during loading screens. Otherwise the game freezes.

So does anyone still have the (r1) source or know the detach combo?

Also, ever thought about having multiple combo's for different cheats?
As in, make two combo's and allow us to select under which one the cheat activates.

That would be perfect for on / off single write cheat codes. But in the meantime, being able to turn off constant write codes would be nice.
And I would update to (r5) and use the Start and Select button but I haven't had any success with (r5, r3, r4,) whatever versions there were, in the past. (r1) was the only working one.

I love this app, and it saves me so much time and hassle, that I don't need to RTM at all anymore.

I'm going to look into Haxxen's version, hope it works and will report back.

Since this commit, or maybe before, the artemis sprx crashes. It looks as though it crashes as soon as it tries to grab the game process.

I was on a software version of 4.85 cfw with Artemis working fine but was forced to get a new ps3 and had to put on 4.86 cfw I wanted you aware of this to hopefully get a patch for 4.86 Hen and CFW to get Artemis working again as This was the best thing I was using on the game hope to see a patch soon.
