Also I noted that the analog DSP doesn't accommodate the different de-emphasis for Europe, it's 50us instead of 75us. Not sure what effect that may be having.

After analyzing this, I think it's a bad idea. Both North America and Europe define channels with 200MHz separation. While I have access to analog channels with > 200MHz bandwidth, I cannot hear or see any difference. I think HD Radio needs adjustments to figure out how much of the "extended" bandwidth the channel uses, but that wouldn't affect the analog component.

Leaving open since I do want to check/address the de-emphasis concern.

The de-emphasis is handled by the demodulator, but it probably needs to be made more clear in the settings. Today this will be handled by ensuring the addon is set to RBDS instead of RDS, might want to consider having a more clear "Region" setting that allows for North America or World and then just handle RBDS/RDS based on that.
