anti-creeper-grief's Issues

1.16.5 Realms issue

First, i wanted to thank you for creating this datapack, it's very useful and perfect for my needs! however when this data pack was installed in my friend's Realms, some issues came up.

Describe the bug
while creepers don't destroy blocks, they also deal no damage to the player, with or without armour. Along with doing no damage, they also give off luck/unluck, but as stated in the readme this isn't much of an issue as they cancel out, but still something i felt should be noted.

To Reproduce
Just load the datapack on a Realms world and you should see this behavoir as well

Expected behavior
the player is damaged but the landscape isnʼt

Version informaton:

  • Minecraft: 1.16.5 Realms
  • Datapack: Just this one
  • Other mods: OptiFine HD U G6

Re-test everything

Once gnembon/fabric-carpet#398 is fixed, re-test all the tick-perfect edge cases.

  • Enable/Disable
    • Dis-/en-able tick a creeper spawns
    • Dis-/en-able tick before a creeper explodes
    • Disable the tick a creeper has just exploded and created an AEC
    • Disable the tick a bomb creeper has been created, before it explodes (needs command block or schedule?)
  • Kill a creeper the tick before it explodes
  • Charge a creeper the tick before it explodes
  • Exit and re-open game the tick before a creeper explodes
  • All the above with a creeper with a 1-tick fuse

Removes other effects from creeper AEC

Currently this kills the marker AEC even if the creeper that exploded had other effects, and therefore there should still be an AEC with those effects.

Realms

This pack isn't working in my realm, its not doing any damage to me

1.16.4 Creepers do no damage

Describe the bug
I've installed this datapack in a 1.16.4 world and have tested running right up to creepers with no armor, and they do no damage or close to no damage to me.

Screenshots
image

This image is showing the half a hard lost by a creeper exploding very close to me. I've also observed no hearts lost.

Version informaton:

  • Minecraft: 1.16.4
  • Datapack: multiplayer_sleep_2, graves_2, fast_leaf_decay_2, armored_elytra, wandering trades v1.4.0, unlock all recipes v2.0.0, more mob heads v2.8.1, armor statues v2.8.1, anti ghast grief v1.1.0, anti enderman grief v1.1.0
  • Other mods: (using forge) OptiFine_1.16.4_HD_U_G5, Xaeros_Minimap_20.29.0_Forge_1.16.4

Additional context
I have not tried any other version of minecraft and haven't run this datapack before so I'm not sure what a baseline is for this working for me.

I've observed this on a realms plus server (that I own) and in the world download.
