pdftk-bin's Issues

Why pdftk isn't installed on non-beanstalk envs?

Hi, I just bumped into a bin/sh: pdftk: command not found on my local machine.

After inspecting the code and your README.md, I indeed found out, that I need to set my $PATH properly.

What comes to mind:
a) I can re-use the bin from your npm package, which I have installed as my project's dependency. This will pollute my $PATH with a project-specific binary, and will need to be repeated on a per-project basis
b) I can install your npm package globally and set my $PATH to point to this global package, while still declaring a dependency on a local package for the beanstalk use-case.
c) I can install pdftk-bin as a system package (in my case, this would be and ArchLinux AUR package), and roll with this for the local machine use-case. And still use your npm package for the beanstalk machines

All good, but my question is - what is the motivation behind setting up the $PATH only for beanstalk environments? Is it because a lot of people already have their pdftk installed via other means, e.g. as a system package?
