I've been using this device on and off for the years that I have had it. I have noticed in the last year or so that when I press diagonally in any direction it will sometimes lock one of the axes. As if it it is still being pressed. Taping any button on the controller seems to break the lock. It seems like my device didn't have this problem at least when I first had it.

I have tested this in linux (Kubuntu 22.04, wine window 7 compatibility) and windows 11 through the Bigpemu with the same results. I also tried multiple Jaguar controllers with the same effect. I have tested this in both Bigpemu and with a few games on steam with the same effect. It seems to be a problem with the device.

I decided to post an issue here in case this might be a bug that has cropped up overtime. I doubt this is the problem because this happens in both Windows and Linux and the chances of some driver or method for handling HID changing in both ecosystems causing the same problem is unlikely.

With very little information available for a niche device, this is my last attempt at least diagnosing if there is a problem with the device, or discovering some sort of software adjustment I need to make in my OS/application that I have overlooked.

Here is a desktop recording of the problem. It's a bit hard to notice without using the controller yourself, but anytime it seems like the character is turning for no good reason is when the axis locks up from me pressing diagonally.
