Whenever you play a midi track and the midi has multiple notes hitting at once, the music slows down a bit, not sure what is causing this.

doesn't make sense to go any higher, don't know if it does, I just notice some small leg, when playing intensive songs, probably due to graphics.

some midis will add sound effects (e.g. my local version of 9 to 5) and this will set the sound to some instrument that will then remain for the rest of the songs. I need to reset the whole keyboard to fix this. Might be good to inspect songs that fix this (e.g. circus galop) and send the same msgs they send to reset every time.

When a song does not send the "note_off" midi message, the keys stay highlighted. this could be fixed by creating a timer that de-highlights any key after a certain amount of time, however, this needs to be done in an efficient way, maybe inside the key classes to automatically reset after x time.

prevent lots of threads created by songs such as circus galop.
