Try this for adding lines:

            line_points = zip(structures.geometry.y.values,structures.geometry.x.values)
            folium.PolyLine(list(line_points), color='black').add_to(folmap)

I've got a series of processing scripts that would be interesting to visualize the data at the end of the model run........

In terms of configuration, does folium spawn local web-pages using just folium? Any local web server configuration needed a la "python -m SimpleHTTPServer"?
