Web Application Firewalls und Machine Learning

Web Application Firewalls are an essential component in the protection of web applications against many types of attacks from the network. In many cases, these firewalls are provided as reverse proxy to be installed in front of the vulnerable application. The configuration of such a system, however, often proves to be more complicated. This paper gives a brief overview of the topic and provides simple configuration examples. Additionally suggestions for further improvements will be given as well.

... zum Erstellen des Datensatzes, fordert aber Öffentlichkeit in den Anforderungen des Datensatzes.

  • Ist "Alles" verfügbar?
  • Behauptung: theoretisch müsste sich aus dem finalen Datensatz ein Klon der Webanwendung erstellen lassen
  • Wäre es nicht besser öffentliche und allgemeine Anwendungen als Ziel zu wählen? (BluePrints, Beispiele usw.)?
