Hello, Everyone welcome to the project. I want to list few requirements that you need to install before getting started:

1. Nodejs
2. Yarn

After installing the dependencies,

1. clone the repository.
2. Change in chatting-web directory using cd chatting-web
3. Run the command yarn install
4. Run the project using yarn start

The installation steps for nodejs on ubuntu desktop are:

Run the following commands in order.

curl -sL https://deb.nodesource.com/setup_14.x | sudo -E bash -
sudo apt-get install -y nodejs

To install the yarn run the following commands in order:

curl -sS https://dl.yarnpkg.com/debian/pubkey.gpg | sudo apt-key add -
echo "deb https://dl.yarnpkg.com/debian/ stable main" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/yarn.list

sudo apt update && sudo apt install yarn

The Goal of the project is to build an application that could handle millions of users. The process will help me and my team members develop a great understanding of the software, its internals and some of the common problems that could arise during development.

After everything, the goal will be to learn the most out of the journey in building this application.
