OpenWeatherMapWidget

Open source code for Garmin Widget connecting to Open Weather Map.

This is a good example of how background processes work. Feel free to give me suggestions on improving the code.

There is also an example of Glance View for widgets.

refresh doesnt reset timer

HI, great widget.
I have noticed when using the menu to request a refresh, the timer is not always reset
is there a specific condition which needs to be met in order for the refresh to work ?

Doc or code issue: use GPS for location

The description says:

NEW: now you can get location directly from GPS on your watch. With the app open, press MENU button and choose "Get location from GPS".

This doesn't appear on my FR255. Version 15 (the later one, 12 Dec).

I've got a valid OWM API key, have sunset time and have just gotten a GPS fix, and still get the message:
