• GET api/customers for reading all customers

• get all dependencies
• add middleware and secret
• modify existing POST routes for /auth/login and auth/signup
• set up /auth/verify GET route
• cleanup unused code and deps

Do not use the middleware anywhere for now (will come later with route protection step)
