It turns out that the attrs* module defines a package named attr, which shadows this projects’s attr module. Given their popularity, I won’t ask them to rename, but this project could.

I don’t use attrs but the latest pytest depends on it. In the meantime I have inlined the attr function in my code.

I am trying to package attr for openSUSE. However, there is no license file I can find, either in the github or tarball. In order for people to know how they can use your code it is really important to have a license file. Would it be possible to add one? Thank you.

This package doesn't seem to be in conda-forge (for installation as a conda package).

Could you create and push git tags for each release? It would help for example tools that make pull requests to update dependencies and try to generate a changelog.
