it's awesome, but can I custom layout of dialog?
Great App!
Minor change to readme. I think it should be:
appRater.show();
rather than
mAlertDialog = appRater.show();
because mAlertDialog has never been defined. Somebody copy pasting this won't know :)
Hi,
A cool feature would be to check if the app is already rated or not and only if it's not rated to open the AppRater dialog.
For example, if the user clicks on the "Rate now" button and there is no internet connection or the user simply changes his mind, the app will remain unrated and no further notification dialog will appear.
Do you plan to implement this?
Hi there,
Thank so much for creating this awesome tool! I am having an issue. The alert dialog is just not showing. I made sure to add ".show", but no luck. Also, I am using fragments, I don't know if that's where the problem is?
Any guidance would be highly appreciated.
Thanks
Is tit the same as when you initially fire the rating?
This is a good library, however I am seeing a small issue.
If I do Later and then I decide no I want to rate now then the dialog is not shown unless the launch time of I guess 2days is up.
NOTE: I am doing setDaysBeforePrompt(0); and setLaunchesBeforePrompt(0) before calling show, everytime user clicks on rate us.
Is this a bug or am I doing something incorrect. Please suggest.
My guess is this would be the same behavior for Never also, though IMO never means never prompt me but the user can choose to rate whenever he/she wants to. Maybe this can be an additional configuration, if we want to override the user's previous selection of Never.
Thanks!
I think it would be great if this library could be published to the Maven Central repository so that it could be included as a gradle dependency for Android Studio projects. This makes things much simpler, and then you don't have to include source code, or manually build a jar to include with your project.
Error:(25, 8) error: class AppRater is public, should be declared in a file named AppRater.java. how to fix this?
thanks
What is the difference between "show" and "demo"? I mean, if i call the "show", even on real device, it doesn't show the alertdialog. If i call "demo", always shows the alertdialog, despising "DaysBeforePrompt" and "LaunchesBeforePrompt"'s setup. Yes, i'm in app development. So, when i put the apk on google store (example), the alertdialog will appear normally? How is it work?
Thanks in advance.
