standard-deck's Issues

Curious about this projects' road-map

This is not an issue but instead I am curious about where you are taking this project. Some friends and I had an idea about an app that could be just a deck of cards, nothing specific to any particular game, just cards. However it would allow you to play any game you want. When I found this I was super happy this was almost exactly like what were looking to make, it even solved some of the issues I was trying to think about in how it manages multi-player by pulling the cards behind the players line.

Anyways, I am curious about where you plan to take this if anywhere at all. It's missing several key things that would make it useful for a true deck-of-cards to play complete games with. For instance, I want to re-shuffle the deck but keep certain cards out, like cards in the players hands or potentially even cards on the board, so need a way to sort of lock them in play. I have more ideas and requests for this as well but will leave it at that for now.

Great job on this BTW!

Add ability to have a 5th player

Another feature request, rather than a bug. (Not sure what proper etiquette is on GitHub... hope it's ok!)

Ability to have a 5th player would allow us to play the best version of our game.

Thanks for considering!

More Options to Configure While Shuffling the Deck

As a virtual Poker card simulator, I can say that this is amazing. One thing I do wish would be included however, would be the ability to configure the shuffling settings. Currently, when shuffling, you take the cards from the players back into the deck while shuffling, and I was wondering if it was possible to have a toggle to turn that off.

Hide other players cards till they reveal.

It's not an issue. Its a neat online playing card game to play with friends in the current lockdown.

Is it possible that only players can see their own cards until they want to reveal?

Looking to use it to play bridge with friends.

Thanks!

Add ability to sort your cards?

Also not a bug... this is awesome. Thanks!

If players could rearrange the cards in their hand, that would make it even better :) (Fyi it's important for our game, to see trump, which are spread among the four suits. Fwiw game is Sheepshead aka Schafskopf)

Thanks again for this app!
