Have all files in one zip and another with just the required files for
the update (eg. only boot.dol and meta.xml, not the icon, or SMW folder)
Much faster download this way.
"If you have not updated since version x.x, it is suggested that you
download all of the required files (1.zip)"

a lot.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use same forwarder channel from 1.2 (USBLoader GX-type)
2. Download and copy over 1.3 and rename SMW-Wii folder to SMW
3. Run forwarder channel
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
With 1.2, the forwarder channel worked great, but here my Wiimote won't
sync with 1.3 and also hitting reset on the Wii gives a Code dump, which
probably means it would code dump if you tried to exit back to the System
menu (but I could be wrong - I cannot test without a synced Wiimote). 1.3
seems to work great from the HBC - so it is definitely still usable - I
just like it enough that i like a Sysmenu shortcut.

In the main menu, if you press the 1 button on a wiimote, the game will
return to the homebrew channel. This can be pretty annoying, since it
happens very often on accident, and the reload-time is quite long.
Also, turning it off would only require commenting out one line of code in
main.cpp (mMainMenu.SetCancelCode(MENU_CODE_EXIT_APPLICATION);)

I just ran the IOS58 installer that you made last night as well. I'm not
certain if I installed it before I attempted to boot up SMW-wii for the first
time but I re-attempted afterward and got the stack-dump error both times. I
guess I'll try downgrading back to v1.3 to see if I still ahve problems. But
could I be experiencing the issue because I didn't run the IOS58 installer
prior to attempting to boot up SMW-wii v1.4 for the first time? (The
wiibrew.org page for the SMW wii reads: USB 2.0 via IOS58 support. Requires
that IOS58 be pre-installed.) I wasn't making any attempt to utilize any USB
devices at the time of the error by the way.
Note: I haven't experienced any problems booting up other applications after
upgrading to the HBC 1.0.7... I tested several of them including your DOSBox
v1.4 release and was able to run them all without issue.
