The favourite button is nested within the thread on the home page, so when you click on the button, the onclick event for the thread is triggered and the user is redirected to the thread page.

clicking the favourite button should not redirect the user.

The admin of the site has the ability of locking a thread which prevents anyone from adding any more comments.

Viewing a locked thread, you can see a message saying that the thread is locked. It would be nice if there was an indication of this on each thread without having to visit the thread. On the home page for example where multiple threads are listed.

A mixed content warning is showing for gravatars of new users. The image url is saved as http, not https.

Visiting a thread shows the replies. If the original poster of the thread has selected a reply as "best", it will be highlighted. It would be nice if this reply was shown at the top of the replies list.

Attempting to unaward points to a user which would set their reputation to < 0 results in a database error.

The cards on the home page should show the thread title, and a subset of the thread body. If a thread were to be posted with a long body, it would take up too much space on the home page. Perhaps the first 400 characters should be shown followed by ...

The thread cards (on the thread list and the thread show page) should have a link present for the authors username which points to their profile, and a link for the category name which points to the category page
