next-site's Issues

navbar

the navbar should behave the same as it does on the homepage: i.e. part of the dotted background when it's in the hero, then "breaks out" as you scroll

https://cl.ly/54ecabc785ee

[SSR Page] "Leave the Heavy Lifting to the Servers" section

  • performance graph positioning should be bottom-aligned with text (see mocks)
  • borders should be 1px width (HR border-top: 0, etc)
  • bottom sections should have equal margin on all left/right (e.g. "Lightning Fast Delivery" should have margin-left: 4rem)

svg for expo logo

We need an svg for the Expo logo. Should we just scrap it from their site?

page title

it's currently just "Next.js", let's change it to something like "Static Exporting - Next.js Features"

hero learn more

"learn more" button should link to "push your site to the edge" section

Hulu Case Study

PWA

"Lightning Fast Navigation" Section

  • Should be a space in: "application is.Eliminating"
  • Button should link to correct location

"Native Features" Section

  • These bullets need to be aligned
  • First row should have larger margin-bottom (24px according to mock):

"who's using..." fixes

  • carousel images should be higher resolution. try resizing frames in figma before exporting... if that doesn't work, you can probably find the full-size original screen grabs in an earlier version of the figma doc
  • carousel logos should be same size as figma doc (e.g. "blockchain" is 218px in figma vs 176px on the site)
  • carousel sites should loop around
  • clicking a carousel image should bring you to the site
  • all carousel item should have the same box-shadow (see figma for css)
  • "perfect for" should span full page width (same width as items in nav) https://cl.ly/3f05e842d866

Update Team Image

"We’re going to take a photo of the team to replace the one of the people working."

hero terminal section fixes

  • the feature bullets should be better centered, looks like an issue with the SVG checkmarks (https://cl.ly/25ea947194fa). namely, these should span the full width of the container
  • input/output animated lines should be the same (right line should have the same width/style as left)
  • terminal and file containers should all be vertically aligned (https://cl.ly/24fad4fdd72f)
  • border-radius on the file input/output containers is looking kinda weird on my larger monitor (https://cl.ly/ee8a86590117)
  • ideally, we'd have those lines above the file list container like: https://cl.ly/72072673c17d.
  • said outlines in the file list container should be animated as well
  • terminal should be a bit shorter. ideally would have similar padding-bottom to that of terminal on zeit.co/now (and the figma doc) https://cl.ly/b1a0750903a1
  • terminal should have same box-shadow as left/right file-containers (could probably just copy css from figma)
