This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app
.
This project is pre-configured with pre-hooks using huskie that include the following checks:
- commit-message: commit message format validation
- pre-commit: eslint check
- pre-push: build checks
Default commit messages should start with one of the following prefixes:
- build: Changes that affect the build system or external dependencies (example scopes: gulp, broccoli, npm)
- ci: Changes to our CI configuration files and scripts (example scopes: Travis, Circle, BrowserStack, SauceLabs)
- docs: Documentation only changes
- feat: A new feature
- fix: A bug fix
- perf: A code change that improves performance
- refactor: A code change that neither fixes a bug nor adds a feature
- style: Changes that do not affect the meaning of the code (white-space, formatting, missing semi-colons, etc)
- test: Adding missing tests or correcting existing tests
Note: above commit message format can be modified in commitlint.config.js
Unused variables can be escaped with and _
(trailing underscore)
To get started, follow these steps:
- Clone this repository.
- Remove the existing git remote origin
git remote remove origin
. - Add a new git remote for your own repository
git remote add origin <your-github-repo-url>
. - Install dependencies using
npm install
.
First, run the development server:
npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
# or
pnpm dev
Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.
You can start editing the page by modifying pages/index.tsx
. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.
API routes can be accessed on http://localhost:3000/api/hello. This endpoint can be edited in pages/api/hello.ts
.
The pages/api
directory is mapped to /api/*
. Files in this directory are treated as API routes instead of React pages.
This project uses next/font
to automatically optimize and load Inter, a custom Google Font.
This project also includes Storybook, a UI component development environment. To start Storybook, run the following command:
npm run storybook
# or
yarn storybook
Storybook should start up and be available at http://localhost:6006
. You can explore the various components and view their documentation and usage examples.
The VSCode debugger is also set up for this project. You can find the debugger configuration in the .vscode
folder.
