This is a script to automate the process of debloating a Samsung phone. In the debloat_list.txt file are packages that will remove Google and Samsung bloatware (as well as other apps such as Facebook, Netflix, etc.).

This script will only leave essential apps (calculator, notes, file explorer) and most features (Smart Switch, Android Auto and connectivity in general), so this WON'T handicap your phone. I tested this configuration for more than half a year and it works perfectly fine.

1. Factory reset your device.

2. Turn the device on and, during the initial setup process, DO NOT create or sign in to a Google or Samsung account (if you do, you may brick your device later).

3. Finish the setup and let the device finish installing and updating all the apps it needs.

4. Open a terminal and use this command in your computer with your phone or Samsung device linked to it:

   adb shell

   If you don't know how to install adb or use it, check a guide online.

5. Download the script to your device:

   curl -sSL -o /data/local/tmp/debloat.sh https://raw.githubusercontent.com/davnpsh/samsung-debloat-script/main/debloat.sh

6. Make it executable:

   chmod +x /data/local/tmp/debloat.sh

7. Run the script:

   /data/local/tmp/debloat.sh

8. Restart your device.

This script will remove both stores from your phone, so I suggest using Obtainium, Aurora Store or F-Droid to download apps.
