idea:

  • simple markup language usable by non developers
  • free transpiler, live preview in browser
  • easy to use UI

what can it do?

simple text:

"hi, this is just basic text"
or
hi, this is just basic text $

you can choose from these 2 ways
"text" syntax is more usefull for simple text
text $ syntax is more usefull for styled text (I preffer this for all cases

result:
<div style="background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.0); color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 1.0); margin: 0px 0px; padding: 0px 10px; font: 15px Arial, sans-serif;">hi, this is just text</div>

obrazek

some styling:

this is white text on black background and some other stuff $ color white bg black inJump 20px outJump 20px inSpace 30px outSpace 30px

color (font color)
predefined colors -> white, blue and transparent
rgba syntax -> 100 230 100 1.0
bg (background color)
predefined colors -> white, blue and transparent
rgba syntax -> 100 230 100 1.0
inJump (space between left and right side of box containing text and text itself) (padding-left and padding-right)
outJump (space between left and right side of box containing text and border of window) (margin-left and margin-right)
inSpace (space between top and bottom side of box containing text and text itself) (padding-top and padding-bottom)
outSpace (space between top and bottom side of box containing text and other box containing text) (margin-top and margin-bottom)
pixels -> 100px
percents -> 40%
view-width -> 8vw

result:
<div style="background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 1.0); color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 1.0); margin: 0px 20px; padding: 30px 20px; font: 15px Arial, sans-serif;">this is white text on black background and some other stuff</div>

defining styles:

#header# color 100 100 200 1.0 inSpace 15px outSpace 10px inJump 18px
this is header $ style header
this is just normal text $
this is header again $ style header

you can override style by adding parameters you want to change after "style "

result:
<div style="background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.0); color: rgba(100, 100, 200, 1.0); margin: 10px 0px; padding: 15px 18px; font: 15px Arial, sans-serif;">this is header</div>
<div style="background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.0); color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 1.0); margin: 0px 0px; padding: 0px 10px; font: 15px Arial, sans-serif;">this is just normal text</div>
<div style="background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.0); color: rgba(100, 100, 200, 1.0); margin: 10px 0px; padding: 15px 18px; font: 15px Arial, sans-serif;">this is header again</div>

use image

@image of dog@ src https://cdn.pixabay.com/photo/2019/08/19/07/45/corgi-4415649_1280.jpg width 200px

text between @'s is just for you, doesn't affect output in any way
src can point to image from web of locally to some image
there are some checks for size so it shouldn't break
if you specify only one paremeter of size, like height, second one is set so it keeps original ratio

result:
<img src=https://cdn.pixabay.com/photo/2019/08/19/07/45/corgi-4415649_1280.jpg style = "width: 200px; height:auto; max-width: 100%; max-height: 100%;">```

is it just markdown copy???

It is similar to markdown, but it has some key differences

differences from markdown:
  • you can use whatever colors you want with rgba syntax, or predefined colors
  • no xml markings
  • interactivity (in future)

motivation:

This project has 2 main goals.

  • make us get maturita without passing maturita exam
  • provide easy and free workflow for making:
    • presentations
    • writer styled articles
    • teaching/learning materials
    • good looking notes

technology used:

  • haskell
  • html
  • cpp (http server)
  • js
  • bash
