react-quiz's Issues

Code Question about initializing the state

I'm trying to extend your code for our quiz but I'm learning React for it now. Can you help me understand what the purpose is of doing state = {...this.getInitialState(this.props.totalQuestions)}; and not just state = this.getInitialState(this.props.totalQuestions);? It is in line 10 of the file QuizApp.js.

The code doesnt run for me..

Is this code outdated? I was trying to extend this to part of my webpage's functionality but it seems like this doenst even run at all. I followed the instruction on readme

Switch to Vite?

I recently used a very old laptop where a quiz based on yours took 17 seconds to build.
However even as a React beginner, I found it really painless to switch from Webpack to Vite, which was much faster (500 milliseconds reported, however it still took some time that was not included in the measurement).
This allowed me to remove many dependencies, such as Babel, so that the size of the bundle was smaller as well.
If you are interested to do that in your Quiz as well, you can take a look at https://github.com/snikproject/quiz, especially package.json and vite.config.js.
I can also create a pull request if you want.
