Hello,
I have encountered a problem in Moodle 3.8.7 with the menutopic. I edited the tree structure and saved it. Once back in the course, no menu appeared. So I went back to the menutopic menu and an error message appears when I want to see the tree structure.

What information would you need for help me?

Hello, we are seeing a problem in Moodle 2.9 with menutopic when we try to edit the menu tree. When we click on the menu tree tab the tree structure section below is empty. It seems like the menu is failing to load on the page. There's also this javascript error:

lib.js:12 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'appendChild' of undefined

Everything works fine when we tested in Moodle 3.0, so the problem seemed limited to m2.9. See the image attachment for more details.

Hello, I'm having this issue after updating the plugin on my site.

The Notice appears when I try to edit a course menu.

Hello David,

When you first switch from the Topics format to the Menutopic format, the menu editor does not recover the custom section titles but the default titles : Topic 0, Topic 1, etc.
Is this normal ?

PS : Moodle version 3.9.8

Upon saving the course page after selecting "MenuTopic" course format, the error comes up (Boost theme)..

Not sure how to enable or disable the MenuTopic block (not shown in block list?) according to line 734: $showsection = true; ??

I had to tentatively rename lib.php file in order to bring the course back online and roll back to a different course format.
