The line:
List pins = ViewModel.LoadPins();
in MapPage.cs I get the following error:

Cannot implicitly convert type System.Threading.Tasks.Task<System.Collections.Generic.List<Xamarin.Forms.Maps.Pin>>' toSystem.Collections.Generic.List<Xamarin.Forms.Maps.Pin>' (CS0029)

Any ideas why this may be occurring? Any advice is appreciated. I have copied and pasted code from the 'Using ArcGIS Server with Xamarin Forms Maps blog' into the MapViewModel.cs. I have also added the using statements. In MapViewModel.cs the line:
public async Task<List> LoadPins()
has been inserted directly under the '}' which closes off the public MapViewModel()
