project-api-yip-yip's Issues

Voting

I noticed that when I upvote and then downvote something, the score changes by two. It's because of this part of the code in post_controller.js

if (addArray.includes(user)) {
    return item;
  } else if (removeArray.includes(user)) {
    removeArray.splice(removeArray.indexOf(user), 1);
    addArray.push(user);
    item.score += scoreChange * 2;
  } else {
    addArray.push(user);
    item.score += scoreChange;
  }

But the problem is, someone might have pressed upvote, but it happened to be a slip of the finger and they want to cancel their upvote. What would we do in a situation like this?
