default-dashboard's Issues

More clear instructions ...

I'm sorry, but i just can't understand how to do it... all gif animations are way too quick to see or understand anything from them.

As i see both input_select and input_boolean are automatically created (at least in my case they were), so it's not needed to create them manually - when i did they got "2" addition in entity name. Then - i guess that creating a card with both input...is needed (nowhere mentioned). What input_boolean does? What is the purpose of "refresh" tab?

What i'd like to understand most is how to set per-device dashboard. All my attempts changed default for all devices...

How to remove/uninstall?

I can't seem to uninstall this from my system. It's created 10 input_select entities and 10 input_boolean's that are "read only". No issues necessarily, just want to uninstall completely.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Anyway to keep Overview as a selectable dashboard?

So I have installed and got this working great with a cut down dahsboard that I want all devices to use when hitting HA. This is great, so thanks for this.

I would still like to have a dashboard that automatically contains everything in the system, similar to overview, so is there a way to keep overview as a selectable option in the list of dashboards even with my other dashboard being set as the default one?

Default Dashboard resets after Restart

So my issue is that the Dropdown Helper is restetting to the default lovelance dashboard after every restart of HA and the Plugin in kinda useless. I really like the effort put into the plugin as it is a fundamental Feature Homeassistant hast implementet yet for some reason.
If it helps I'm running the Home Assistant OS on a respberrypie.

Dropdown helper not keeping state

I've installed the latest version of the plugin (1.1.1) via HACS. It created the 2 helpers and loaded all my dashboards automatically. Then I selected the default with the dropdown helper and everything works as expected.

However when I restart HA, the value of the dropdown is reset to lovelace. I tested creating a another dropdown and that kept its selection after restart, just not the one created by this plugin. The boolean toggle also behaves the same, ie, if I turn it off, then restart HA, it will be come on again.

I have checked the core.restore_state file and it does store the selected value after you change it, but somehow it will be reset after HA restart.

A unreleated question if you can answer. How can I re-refresh the list of panels if I add/remove some?
