At the upper-right hand corner of the webpage is an option in which the user gives permission for their computer/phone to be tracked, revealing their current location. Upon the click-event, the map will update itself to reveal the user's current location.

This button, when pressed, will lead to a second page with information about the website, etc.

Upon selecting the shelter button, pins representing shelters with 0 barriers (women's and youth shelters excepted) will appear within either the 1-mile radius of the user's location or within the district of the user's choosing.

When the user hovers over a pin representing a food and/or shelter establishment, a tooltip will appear containing the following information in visually descending order:

1. Establishment's name in the form of a hyperlink that--when clicked--will lead to another page (link-sf) to display more information about the establishment.
2. Establishment's address
3. Walking distance between user and establishment
4. How much time remaining before closing in the format ([# hr(s),] # min(s) left)
5. An option for generating directions (in the form of a hyperlink) that will form a path between user and establishment, as well as written directions
   6.The establishment's phone number

Upon clicking this button, establishments currently open which contain 0 prerequisites located within either a mile radius of the user's location or within the entire district will appear. To remove the pins, the user will deselect the button.

Pins representing food and/or shelter establishments will appear within either the entire district or within a one-mile radius of the user's current location.

The user selects "food" and/or "shelter", so pins representing food and/or shelter providers will manifest.
These establishments are open at the time that the user sends request, but the time remaining must be equal to or greater than the walking distance,
These establishments imposes 0 barriers (for instance, prior registration, requested official documents for eligibility, etc). HOWEVER, the barrier on men entering a women's shelter and adults entering youth shelters will be the notable exceptions.
The radius will be within 1 mile walking distance. If there is only 1 establishment open in that is beyond a 1 mile radius and may or may not be in the district, calculate the time via public transportation and/or taxi

In the upper left hand corner is a drop-down combo box of the 27 districts of San Francisco from which the user may enter if the user's ultimate destination is outside of their present location.

Upon selection of a district, the user's pin will be placed in the exact middle of the district. Upon selection of exact location, the map will update to reflect the user's current location.

Upon loading, by default, the screen will show a Google Map of the city of San Francisco, CA.
