The TSP100 can use "multi-color receipt papers".

Can we use this to get a gray shade as well as black + white?

This fails with an IndexError as it is now, since the code doesn't account for the image width.

Add an option to prompt the user on warnings before sending off the image data to the printer.

For example: "The image got cropped, are you sure that you want to continue? (y/n)"

There's a Java-based auto-discovery tool in the driver package for the TSP100 that uses broadcasting to find printers on the network.

Find out how this is done, and implement something similar.
