I did clone of this repo.

Then tried helm install

helm package . --debug

and then

helm install helmet-chart-0.0.1.tgz --debug

but I got --generate-name error so I did

helm install helmet-chart-0.0.1.tgz --debug --generate-name

but then it fails

helm.go:84: [debug] unable to recognize "": no matches for kind "Deployment" in version "extensions/v1beta1"
unable to build kubernetes objects from release manifest
helm.sh/helm/v3/pkg/action.(*Install).Run

I also tried

kubectl apply -f manifest.yml

but it returns me

error: unable to recognize "manifest.yml": no matches for kind "Deployment" in version "extensions/v1beta1"
I am using helm 3 and minikube.

Hi,

First of all thanks for this HELMET.
I am using helmet chart and deployed it on kubernetes cluster.
I am facing an issue that in helmet-index.yaml, The value of URL of chart is
"http://kissing-zorse-helmet-cha:1323/charts/abc-0.1.0.tgz" which is not resolvable and helm install failed.
Is there any way we can provide our own URL where these charts are actually accessible?

I thought about adding persistent volume claim and attaching the volume to /opt/helmet/charts..
if the docker will crash we still got our data..
