I found a unclickable door on dungeon level 1. you can find the savegame here: http://chaosmarc.de/diablo/single_0.sv
what i did before i found the door:
yesterday:
created a new character
went down to level 3
today
loaded the savegame
esc -> new game -> selected the hero -> new game
went down into the cathedral
The savegame is definitely broken. If loaded with devilution on my desktop the door is unclickable too.

Hey i'm just super curious about how you ported it for emscripten. I've been trying to learn it and my C++ is quite rusty. This weekend will try to compile it myself. Can you explain how you're actually drawing to the html canvas? I think you rewrote the drawing functions in dx.cpp I see - #ifdef EMSCRIPTEN
EM_JS( void, api_draw_blit, (int x, int y, int w, int h, void* ptr), {
self.DApi.draw_blit(x, y, w, h, HEAPU8.subarray(ptr, ptr + w * h * 4));
});
my question is what is DApi? i don't see that anywhere in your source code. is that an emscripten function? or an SDL drawing function?
Thanks
In order to sort out the dependencies issues better, maybe it will be best to compile the WASM files from the https://github.com/diasurgical/devilutionX/ project which has support for SDL2 and Emscripten supports SDL2.

Right now in order to play the game you need to either provide a 500MB MPQ file that you have locally or download a 50MB MPQ for the Shareware version.
This can be improved by reading just the files needed dynamically from the MPQ without downloading the whole MPQ.

What is the save location of diabloweb? Thanks
Hey @d07RiV
first of all great work! I've been following the devilution project for a while now and this is my favorite port so far 😃
From some other issues I've found out that savegames can be exported via DownloadSaves() or DownloadFile("single_X.sv") / DownloadFile("spawnX.sv"). Great thing! I tried using them locally and they load flawlessly 😃
My question is if you would be willing to implement an import for savegames as well. This way one could download them and continue playing on other devices.
I'm fine with js commands for the developer console but an UI (like for the MPQs) for both of those features would probably be better received from the majority of users 😇
Thank you very much for the outstanding port :)

So they reports bugs to the upstream a lot:

I think you need to put project's own URL in the first, most visible place. And maybe hide the upstream URL as a one-word link somewhere below. So the choosing priority is more clear:)
