This will involve writing a function that utilizes the HubSpot API (via Python client) to write a marketing event to the Marketing Event database. The values of the HubSpot properties for the test marketing event will be the following:

Event Name: CZNet All Hands Meeting
Event Organizer: CUAHSI
Event Type: Conference
Start Date Time: 08/05/24
End Date Time: 08/08/24

Once the marketing event is created, update the Event Description field to read The All Hands meeting is a place for our clusters to connect, share ideas, showcase their research, and foster collaboration.

This will involve creating a .csv export of all the utilized HubSpot properties (default or user-created). Properties that are not utilized (e.g., Fax Number) should not be included in the export. The relevant columns in the .csv file are the following:

• Property name
• Internal property name (e.g., jobtitle, lastname)
• Property type (e.g. number, datetime)
• Property description
• Property group name (e.g. marketingeventinformation, analyticsinformation)
• Property creator (e.g., HubSpot, Unknown user)

This will involve writing a function that utilizes the HubSpot API (via Python client) to write a contact to the contacts database. The values of the HubSpot properties for the test contact will be the following:

• First Name: Jane
• Last Name: Doe
• Company Name: CUAHSI
• E-mail: [email protected]

Once the contact is created, update the Job Title property to Data Scientist. Note a separate function may be required for updating contact information.

These functions will assist in programmatically importing HydroShare user data (or any other relevant engagement dataset) to SharePoint and updating this file when there is new engagement. This functions will do the following:

• Authenticating to CUAHSI's MS O365 with user account (see Lindsay's file using MicroSoft365R library as reference; can use Python client here)
• Write test markdown file to test folder where engagement data is stored
• Modify contents of test markdown file and overwrite file in same folder
