When a container is added to a network, it becomes available (via docker magic) via DNS as its service name. This is very handy. However, depending on how DNS is set up, these hostnames can collide with existing A (or AAAA) records for other things/hosts in the DNS search paths. For example, if you have a service called db, it could collide with db.example.com.

To mitigate this, append the root zone (.) to all container hostnames in configuration files and such, this will prevent the local resolver from searching for it in other domains.

The authelia logs point out of bunch of deprecated settings. I thought we got them last we upgraded, but maybe not. Take a closer look at those.
