I would like to continue updating this repo for Monterey. But I have one question for this BIOS.
To use the m.2 slot, the BIOS version must be below 1.0.2. So how did you managed to run it with 1.6.0?
And what is the exact meaning of UEFI modifications? Did you patch the .exe file you uploaded to the repo, or something else?
Hi, I preciated for your project here, it help me force the T30 ran a smooth Big Sur.
I got the issues as following:
Wrong CPU name (not as your mac about photo)
one more issue is when the CPU sleep over an hour, I can wake it up by mouse or keyboard, but it run in black ground only, there is no signal to wake the monitor up (the Dell U2417H)
Do you have a plan to shift your EFI file to the newest OC and support macOS 12 Monterey? This is just a request from my personal side and only see whether you are available recently.
Any luck updating OpenCore and getting Big Sur running on this? I have a working 10.15.7 installation using Clover, but would love to update this system to OpenCore. I assume 11.1 would require at least OC 0.6.4 and maybe some config changes? Just wanted to see if you were able to keep updating.
Thank you for the great tutorial. I have successfully installed it on my T30 (E3-1225 v5, iGPU). However, I still have some problems with the dual monitors setting.
I tried several things here:
The topmost DP port works as expected, and it's able to connect to the monitor.
The next DP failed to work. It can only see the Apple logo after reboot. However, soon after the logo, the screen went back.
The next HDMI failed to work as well. I think this is due original all ports are based DP. Previously, I retried using hackintool to force all DP ports to be HDMI, then HDMI works there, but all DPs failed. Therefore, I went back to the config.plist you provided.
Right now, I have no idea how to make sure two DP and HDMI port works well with iGPU. I am also fine If any two of them work since I just need a working dual monitor setting.
Any suggestion or help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!
It seems inappropriate but I have no idea to compatible T3620 is with opencore0.8.1. I lost all USB interfaces, including Bluetooth and external USB devices, when I tried to use Opencore 0.8.1 to boot the computer.
Hey man good morning (11:13am my time) I would like to ask you a question since you're running iGPU only like I am, If you have gotten Monterey to display, im using my own EFI still but when xnu finsishes up and then the apple logo is supposed to show up my monitor looses signal, I would like to ask if you have tried to get Monterey running.
