Commit d655211 seems to have fixed this for Safari PC, but didn't quite fix it for Safari mobile. (at least for me). As a side note, this behavior also occurs for me on Firefox Mobile.

Yup, using the NEXT version I get absolutely no problem on Safari PC, though the problem still occurs on Safari Mobile.

Are you still seeing issues? If run the Media Grid Demo it works fine on my iPhone 4S IOS v5.1.1. If its still not working for you please post your iPhone version.

Checking on an iPad1, with iOS 4.3.3. Media Grid Demo gives me the red error blocks for image loading (most of the other assets too; XML seems to load, though)

What is the status of this. I need to figure out a workaround or drop PreloadJS. Major bummer since I spent a full week getting things to work with PreloadJS/SoundJS.

I will try and find some time shortly to take a look. This could be related to the iOS version, so I will have to track down an older device.
