android_device_realme_rmx3241's Issues

About touch

toreton from 4pda write me for know how touch can solve. Here's my answer for him:
It all depends on device model and firmware: Global or other location.
_But if the files (listed below) from the /vendor/firmware folder of both devices are the same and compatible, then add the files in the /vendor/firmware folder:
novatek_ts_fw.bin
novatek_ts_fw_jdi.bin
novatek_ts_fw_tm.bin

Recompile the TWRP. Touch screen test._

Can't backup partitions

Not sure if this is the correct repo to add this issue, if not could you point me to the right one?

I'm trying to create a full backup after issuing

$ adb shell twrp decrypt "your password"

The decryption process worked succesfully.

When trying to create a backup it will throw this error

createTarFork() process ended with error: 255

Here's the trace in /tmp/recovery.log from before the error occured

[question] can I boot in this recovery from bootloader without flashing?

When I try to temporarily boot to this recovery image, I'm getting the following error on Realme 8 5G

fastboot boot twrp-3.6.0-11-RMX3241-rc1.img
Sending 'boot.img' (131072 KB) OKAY [ 3.087s]
Booting FAILED (Status read failed (Too many links))
fastboot: error: Command failed

Is the image bootable or am I doing something wrong?

Does this work on RMX3242?

I have a Narzo 30 5G, and the model is RMX3242.
I would like to confirm compatibility before I install it.
