Craft 4 support

I realise how much i depend on this field for a particular project. Will there be a Craft 4 version?

Field type too small for data

Where can I alter the field type to store more json?
I get an error on large json data: should contain at most 65,535 characters and entry will not save.

Ive changed the field in the content table to MEDIUMTEXT but this hasnt solved it
