blightspell's Issues

bug: leading punctuation ends highlight early

Typing input like !!!!asdadasdsadas produces a misspell highlight mask that ends before the last s character. This is probably because the word start is calculated with the leading punctuation included, but the masking is done after we've stripped the punctuation to do a hunspell lookup.

feature: inline suggestions.

  • With the cursor over a misspelled word it should be possible to press a key binding to have the word replaced with a suggested replacement in-line.
  • Continuing to press the key binding should iterate forward through all the suggestions and then return you to the original word.
  • There should be bindings to move forward, and backward through the suggestions.

feature: user dictionary

  • It should be possible to have a separate extra dict file containing words that should be considered valid.
  • It should be possible to add words to the extra dict file from withing Blightmud using an alias. Additions should persist across Blightmud restarts.
  • It should be possible to remove a word from the extra dict file, similar to the add feature.
