Visual Studio 2022 comes with a fairly significant catch - You can't make the one VSIX for that targets old versions and 2022. As such there will be two marketplace entries for it.

The Microsoft Documents recommend build configurations so the same source code can build 2 vsixs, but considering there's no need for extra features beyond supporting new versions of Visual Studio, I'm just going to handle it with branches.

The nature of this change means I probably won't publish the VS2022 version to the marketplace until around VS2022 is released. In the meantime, you can download it from https://ci.appveyor.com/project/cpmcgrath/trimlineends/build/artifacts

This will remove support for Visual Studio 2010.

Not available in the marketplace in the latest VS 2019, and downloading manually and installing simply gives this:

Every time I open VS Community 2015, Trim Line Ends extension comes disabled. I need to enable it and restart VS immediately to make it start enabled, and sometimes I need to repeat this process more than once to achieve the result.

There's nothing in %APPDATA%\Microsoft\VisualStudio\14.0\ActivityLog.xml

The server should

• Set the version number
• Build the solution
• On release deploy to github

Just add handler to Dte.Events.DocumentEvents.DocumentSaved .

Note: The handler must be a class field, otherwise it will not work properly.

I tried the VS 2022 version, enabled it, restarted the IDE, but YAML and YML files don't seem to get trimmed.

Does this work on all extensions?
