A sigmoid function is a bounded, differentiable, real function that is defined for all real input values and has a non-negative derivative at each point and exactly one inflection point.

Inputs: z -> Real number of whose sigmoid is to be calculated

Outputs: σ(z) or sigmoid(z)

Domain: Real numbers

Range: [-1, 1]

A Softmax function is required which is usually used in machine learning algorithms but can be used as a general function as well.
