I know this is an inherent bokeh issue. Nevertheless, we should try to adress this somehow in the future.

In [5]: from cephalopod import interactive_plotting as ip
This gives:
ImportError: cannot import name 'SaveTool'

I am using:
In [4]: bokeh .__version__ Out[4]: '0.11.1'

Gets different values for seemingly identical methods. Will check with software at SIMS.

Plot elements in order, starting from low mass elements.

Priority being on matplotlib choice, but could be useful for bokeh implementation too.

When applying the exponential moving average (EMA) the smoothing factor is hidden from the user.

It may be that it should be exposed to let the user set the degree of smoothing for the curve.

If so there should be a setting that is "original dataset" and least to most flattening scaling.

file_handler.runtime() outputs all the information, I can suppress it by using ; after the function call, but just thought you should know.

Need to have the possibility to scale the elements seperately. Same type of function as rsf, but for the rest of the guys. Should be able to scale one element by some factor as well as scaling all elements together. The reason for this is that there will be a small difference in the secondary ion intensity with respect to the position in the sample holder. This can be accounted for by assuming that the matrix signal should be similar in a set of sambles, hence, scaling capabilities.

Plot should update with new axis when applying an RSF value.

Changes needed to apply this change include saving the figure.line object as a class attribute and edit the y_range_name attribute of said line in the custom callback for application of the RSF

There also needs to be a test on the length of figure.yaxis to ensure that there is no secondary axis earlier in the iteration.

Should be implemented. Along with input of SF and RSF.

First: seems to only apply to th echecked element. Need to apply to all.
Second: Not possible to provide a new value a second time.
