Docker would be useful to include in this image.

But it does not seem to work well with a read only file system.

After rebooting, the docker image is lost and needs to be re-installed...

The filesystem is not automatically expanded to use the full SD card. This can of course be done manually but might be a convenience for installers not familiar with linux or the Raspberry Pi.

At boot time, I am getting the error message "Failed to start Hostname Service" and subsequently can't connect using ControlPi Config or SSH with raspberrypi as the hostname. Is it supposed to put straight into the browser asking me for my name and email address so I can download the ControlPi image (that is after all, how I got to this point in the first place, right?)

node-red-admin would be useful to create the password hash for NodeRED authentication.

It seems so be impossible to install NodeRED-packages, although the RasPi is in rw-mode and internet connection is verified working. The interface of NodeRED shows the desired Plugin (omxplayer), but if I click on install, nothing happens. Also the npm package-manager via the command-line doesn't work. Is there any possibility?

I had an issue with DNS on the board. This stopped my unit from contacting the catchcontrol server despite even entering 8.8.8.8 (google's DNS server) on the controlPi dashboard. What ended up resolving the issue was rebooting the unit in RW mode. On that note would it make sense to boot the image originally in RW mode by default, then after finishing configuration the installer flips the switch on the dashboard to put it in RO mode?

If trying to login with an incorrect login (oops!) you get a nondescript "Something Went Wrong" message as opposed to a password/login incorrect message. This made me thing there was some sort of server error instead of realizing that I was in fact logging in with the wrong email.
